Rebecca Jacobson graduated with a Bachelor of Creative Industries from QUT. She is eager to learn, and to create visual and written works.
Based in Brisbane, she is interested in long and short form writing, and script supervision for film and TV.
Intrigued by the complexity of human relationships formed between strangers, friends, or family, and the limits of morality, these aspects are often reflected in her creative works. She’s had poetry and fiction published in local magazines.
Through her athletic career, Rebecca developed skills and traits found in athletes – strong work ethic, time management, initiative, and communication skills. These habits are clearly seen in her current employment.


During her degree, Rebecca gained experience with script continuity & directing.
She interned with the Gold Coast Fashion Project, developing visual content & marketing materials and managing a run sheet during a street festival.
Rebecca retired from elite level swimming in 2024. Over her career, she represented local, state, university, and national teams at competitions in Australia and across the world.
In 2019 she was an athlete co-leader for the Australian Team at the Junior World Championships.
Rebecca was a scholarship receipient and a member of the QUT Elite Athlete Program. she represented the university three times.
